BitchStickers is a playful term referring to band-aids in the medical community. However, BitchStickers is also an idea. The idea is that first responders secretly love to discuss things. We all have some stories that we would love to share, but sometimes the people around us don't understand. Well, I think a platform to share stories and talk about them would be great. Yeah Forums exist and everyone has their own social media page nowadays, but this could be more cut/dry and feel like home for some. As I continue to develop my technical skills, this site will also continue to evolve. Stay safe out there folks!
My name is Cullen, and I have about 12 years of various first responder experience. I started my career as a Fire Volunteer and received my first responder certificate then. From there I became an EMT-Basic working throughout southern California. Following my dream to advance my medical career, I moved to northern California where I attended a Paramedic program while living "in-house" at one of the local fire departments. This is where I spent some more time as a FireFighter getting to train while supporting a community. It was also where I realized my career as a firefighter would not transpire past there. Finishing my program I returned to Southern California where I worked for 5 years as a paramedic. My career has changed pace since then. Maybe more on that another time.
